Very, Very Vanilla

These vanilla cupcakes are not for the faint of heart! Created special for Elizabeth's sister-in-law's birthday, Batter Up! made them "extra vanilla" at her request. Elizabeth left it up to us to color the frosting and decorate the cupcakes however we wanted so we used a pretty peach color and crystal sprinkles for an added shimmer. Our instincts paid off because Elizabeth told us, "Thanks so much! They loved them- especially the icing." Mmmmm that vanilla is good!

Pink and Purple Bling!

It's party time for Angela, Heather's soon-to-be sister in-law! Heather attended Benny's 1st birthday party, where we made his color caterpillar cupcakes, and instantly fell in love with our cupcakes. So, she ordered 2 dozen chocolate chip with buttercream cupcakes, same as Benny's, for Angela's bachelorette party. Heather asked for pink and purple icing, and we decorated each cupcake with its own edible Bling Ring! They were the only dessert at the party, so there weren't even crumbs left behind! Congrats on your wedding, Angela!!

Polka Dotted Party Cupcakes

4 dozen cupcakes for a girl's 21st birthday party in New York City…piece of CUPCAKE! Our friend Scott asked us to make 4 dozen chocolate and vanilla cupcakes for his lady friend's birthday. He told us she loved the color yellow and asked us to do what we wanted with the design. We thought of yellow (buttercream) and brown (chocolate) polka dots. We tried a new, rich chocolate icing recipe, which was divine. When Scott saw the cupcakes, he was so happy with the way they looked. And after he woke up from his drawn out hangover, the first thing he did was thank us for the delicious birthday cupcakes. He said everyone loved them and they were the perfect snack in the party bus! Happy 21st, Nikki!
